Text, files and recordings

Still processes pasted text, saved HTML/TXT files and generated speech in your browser. These are not uploaded to the hosting server. Recordings are held for the page session; download them if you want to keep them.

Browser storage

The app uses browser storage for preferences, custom model entries, cached application files, model weights and voices. It does not save your passages or recordings as a server-side library. You can remove model downloads through Device & storage, or remove all site data in your browser settings.

Hosting and model downloads

The public deployment is designed for Cloudflare Pages. Requests for website files reach the hosting provider and include normal connection information such as your IP address, browser information and requested URL. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

When you download or check a model, your browser contacts Hugging Face and its file delivery hosts. They receive the information needed to handle those requests. See Hugging Face’s privacy policy. Your passage is not sent with model downloads.

Webpage imports

The static Cloudflare Pages version imports saved files on your device and does not offer server-based URL extraction. If you use a separately hosted version with URL import, that feature sends the article URL to its server and fetches the source website.

Advertising and analytics

This version does not load advertising scripts or analytics trackers. If advertising is introduced, this notice will be updated to describe the providers, data use and available consent controls before ads are enabled.

Your choices

Downloading a model is optional. You can clear site storage, use the app offline once its required files are cached, and delete recordings you saved on your device. Clearing browser storage may require downloading the app and models again.
